Even Bach was looking down and saying “fvck yeah!” on this solo.
Nice thread Vin.Hotel california solo. Crazy smooth and melody rich
(Not sure where to post this.)
I've got too many to mention like most of us, but I'll start with one at random. My tastes run from A to Z, depending on the mood I'm in. I happened to hit this one in a search this morning, and it made me wonder what you's all like.
The fact that I'm pointing this one out doesn't define me in any sense, but I do think the solo, as brief as it is, fits the song perfectly. I'd recommend listening to the whole song to hear the context, but if you just wanna skip to the solo, at least start at 2:35. It's a simple and effective solo that anyone can play.
This song still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. The solo starts at 5:50....but you should start at the beggining to get the whole effect. One of the greatest solos ever, IMHO....
Knock it off Paul ALREADY, [email protected]!I like mine with sausage, green peppers, onions, and black olives.![]()
Nailed it with Gary Moore Shapes of Things! Solo starts at 2:02 and to me, the best part is the extended solo starting at 2:42. One of my favorites!
Otherwise, I think the entire UFO Strangers In The Night album is one big solo for Michael Schenker, with perhaps the best solo ever recorded (IMO), Rock Bottom.
