Would you kind folks take a peak at this?

I'm thinking of making an offer on this, but wanted to get some opinions from all of you who build and repair these amps. I'm looking for a solid donor to convert to bass spec and this one caught my eye. The listing says he thinks it's a 67 spec build. Such a gamble buying amps without being able to plug into them, looking for some insight on the build from trained eyes. Thanks!

Kit built, and the guy who built it was clearly paranoid about shortening transformer wires. Wire dress is not the greatest, but not terrible. Apparently it's a running amp.
Sure, why not? I see no show stoppers. Just shorten those wires and dress the leads and do the bass spec changes and go.

Worth less than parts cost IMO and even then Id pass on almost all Metro or kit buit amps for sale on Reveb.

Not sure what transformers are used. The solder on the pots is poor and just overall looks like the builder doesn't have much experience.

I all ways shake my head when Metro kits are listed as Metropoulus amps..

I don't see why the build quality matters if you're going to work on it anyway. You can tidy up all that stuff when you're in there.

For that sort of money,
I would purchase a new blank chassis, box and transformers. That will save some money and give you a quality start with the components you want, not have to change many values for what you think you need.
Looks like another over priced kit build.

If it works now, just sit down calmly and add up the cost of the parts accurately I mean everything. Look to see if any damage or really poor parts. Compare price as offered vs this.
The important thing about metro kits is the parts quality is very good. Sure it’s build quality is average kit level but from what I see a few hours and rewiring, maybe tweak a few parts to your spec. and you will have a great amp.
Oh and btw it is pretty much Superbass spec now.
