should have noted, that I belong to a few music trading groups, & earlier, someone shared this DVD:

ALVIN YOUNGBLOOD HART'S MUSCLE THEORY
(with support from THE JAMES OLIVER BAND)
Acapela Studio, Pentyrch, Cardiff, Wales
19th January 2023

Nice performance from the Alv'ster. Nice quality sound. The guy left his camera unattended & at points Alvis's head gets cropped off, but, overall a nice video performance from Alvis...

setlist:
ALVIN YOUNGBLOOD HART'S MUSCLE THEORY (91m 05s):
1. Big Mama's Door (Might Return)
2. Where The Fun Is
3. Helluva Way (For A Man To Make A Livin')
4. Watchin' Brian Jones
5. Strange Love (Slim Harpo)
6. Just About To Go
7. How Long Before I Change My Clothes
8. Motivational Speaker
9. Lawd, I'm Just A Country Boy In This Great Big Freaky City (Sir Douglas Quintet)
10. Electric Eel
11. Band Introductions > Stomp Dance
12. The Worm (Free)
13. In My Time Of Dying (Blind Willie Johnson)
14. Shoot Me A Grin
15. Encore Break
16. Fightin' Hard
Alivin's the real deal. Haven't seen him around these parts lately.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout. I listen to stuff that goes way back like that. It's more interesting than 98% of what's around today.
I listen to this stuff all the time. Dinah Washington is one of those singers who can sell any song. You absolutely believe her when she sings it. Shirley Horn is another.
