Orphaned kangoroos depict how I'll feel.

US Army/Reserves 28 years. 20 years Active duty.

I bought an expensive type house in high per capita NJ, near Dover. Gotta keep working... take a break on unemployment and look for work.

Grats on the retirement and new house. Welcome to Jersey, aka the highest property taxes in the nation.

I don't gig.

There is Stanhope House in NJ. It's one of the few remaining places on earth with open mic. I plan on networking.

I suspect open mics aren't a given. You've gotta muscle your way in with street cred.

Hey, its TUES!!!

Retired from the Forces and looking for something different, huh. Hope you can find something you really like!! I quit work about 5 years ago and never went back. I guess I'm essentially retired too in that I don't HAVE to keep working. Will find something for fun again. Enjoy it and congrats!!
