It's in another city, I have someone who can go there and serve as a middleman so I don't get scammed and ship it to me. I already received a video from the seller checking that it's working fine.Local? The matching cab may be the real opportunity given no shipping hassles.
Get it!
I read that those Marshall/Celestion G12 Vintage are like the first version of the Vintage 30, right?Decent price. Excellent amp, excellent cab. The cab weighs a fkuking ton. Killer U.K.-made speakers to boot (you should try to confirm that what's in the cab is stock, pictured below).
Go for it.

Is that a known issue? Faulty potentiometers that don't turn (from stock) or do these get so dirty that they start getting annoying?Check for stuck or soon to be stuck pots..other than that that's a great deal in the u.s.
Cool!<<<<<< A Big yes from me!
Different but good if they are your thing. They have more gain than the classics. They are also smoother and less bright, which some consider a preference, whereas others prefer the more open/aggressive nature of the single channel lead Marshalls.Cool!
What has been your experience with it? Any details you'd like to share with a possible owner of one?
Worst case...You can buy replacement pots, cheap. Not a big worry.Check for stuck or soon to be stuck pots..other than that that's a great deal in the u.s.
When you really get to know the amp....it is amazing how versitile it is. This is not a put everything at noon amp. There are 3 different master volumes basically that you can set differently to get vastly different sounds. Most folks have issues with this. I own a Mesa mk v.....so this is child's play for me....lolCool!

Dude I have read so much on that topic that I don't know what is what anymore. You won't find a gear topic with more conflicting info than this one.I read that those Marshall/Celestion G12 Vintage are like the first version of the Vintage 30, right?
But if a guy has to pay for the install that goes up.Worst case...You can buy replacement pots, cheap. Not a big worry.
