Does 500 bones sound like a good price for a 150w vs avt2000 w/a 1960cab

The significant piece of that deal is the cab. If the cab has original speakers and in good overall condition, then I'd say $500 is a good deal for the amp and cab (so much so that I would jump on that deal if in the same situation).

Obviously make sure the amp is in good overall condition, too, but if you end up not liking either piece, you could probably get a little more than $500 for the cab.

It's from a friend The amp and cab are brand new I figured I'd jump on it
Just a thought...
Are you sure it's a 1960 cab, and not a AVT412?
Head/cab may be more in line with $500 value, but still a good deal if like new condition.
