OK, I'm getting ready to sell my G12C speakers and from what I've read the Jimi Hendrix cabinets came with G12Cs made in UK but the Vintage Modern cabinets came with the G12Cs made in China. However, all the G12Cs from VM cabinets I've seen online have "Made in China" marked on them.

One of them has a cabinet serial number sticker on it indicating 2007 which I think is the first year the Vintage Modern came out. Could these be UK made speakers? Were some of the early Vintage Modern cabs stuffed with UK made G12Cs?

The cones are all marked something like "55H1727". Any idea what that means?

Ah, I also found out that the UK made G12Cs have solder tabs rather than the push-on clips.

Got a couple of these in my '18 1962 olive green combo, one local guy has wanted me to sell them to him for over a year now, he emails me every so often........ so it goes.
