I had some Josh White albums given to me in the 70s.
I listened to them a lot because I did not own many records.

I remember this one well.

BB King, Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, Albert King, Muddy Waters. I'm not sure if Albert Collins and Buddy Guy qualify? I guess it depends on what they play, but then you could count Clapton in, too. I'd personally say some of the Stones' stuff is really blues without any hint of rock, but that's a can of worms...
