I'd like to compare 100- 1 watt Marshalls to their 100 watt counterpart...

Like 100- JVM1 amp's to a JVM210 or 410.

Or, compare 5- 20 watt studios to a 100 watt JMP, or JCM

It would make for an interesting experiment.

I actually don't think that the wall of tiny little Blackstars sounds bad by any stretch. 10/10 would play.

That was fun.

I remember the GAK thing too.

IME, Blackstar's fully SS offerings are way better sounding than the majority of their Tube amps.

not quite the same...

those little transistor things are not meant to sound like the larger 100 watt amp's.

But, it would be difficult to get 5 amp's to compare w/ 1 amp, because you could do a full stack, but, the 20 watt amp's, would need another ¼ stack. You could run 4 amp's into a full stack, but, the odd amp would need a pair too.

But, all 12" speakers for the amp's would be pretty cool. The 100- 1 watters though, that'd be 100 speakers!..

it would be nuts!
