New Origin 20 combo.

Just brought home Origin 20 Combo in cream. Traded in the DSL 20 because I only ever used classic gain channel on DSL. Only thing I wanted a greenback in amp. My guitar dealer gave me a used greenback for free. Gave him speaker in the Origin.

Set up effects loop with a reverb pedal and effects loop works perfect. I also noticed this amp is dead quiet. No whoosh sounds when not playing.

DSL was very noisy at times.

No my brother just 2 in one, and 2 Eminence golds in the other.
I have 8 cabs total, 4 are white, 1 in grey. 3 in black. I do have 3 more 70/80’s to load..

I had a DSL but I never used the ultra gain channel. Only Classic gain channel. Origin is more to my liking and using 3 watt setting works way better for bedroom volume than DSL 5 watt setting.

I’ve tried the 3 different voltage settings and I’m happy with 3 watt. I bought a vintage BOSS Super Overdrive pedal for it but the more I’ve used the amp the less I need that pedal. I’m learning how to get sounds I like just with amp. Did get reverb pedal for it. When amp overdriven reverb sounds wrong. Good on clean settings.

I just bought a used Origin 20 to pair with my DSL20. Im really liking it so far. And I’m the same way with my DSL20, 90% of the time it’s on the Classic channel. Thats one reason why I wanted to have a go with the Origin. It’s early doors but I almost like the Origin better!
With my upgraded 2x12 cab it really sounds sweet,
