A friend let me borrow his credentials so I can look around. I looked around and looked around. Couldn't find anything so I thought I'd look for a Kubrick movie: Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, or 2001: A Space Odyssey. Not there? What? I looked for any Kubrick movie: None. Zero. Nada.

Logged out and never logged back in.

I'm with Smokey.
NetFlix is newish where I live, but I think I have an idea about what it's for.
It's for popular movies and TV series. This is useless to me.
The range is very limited.

I have not checked at length, but I bet they don't have even two dozen movies directed by Romanian or Hungarian or Russian or Spanish or French or German people.

I bet they don't even have a good selection of Guy Madden. And he, being Canadian, is not even particularly 'foreign'.

Just saying. Feel free to re-educate me.

give em time tubes. netflix is trying some new things.

actually they just had a Kubrick documentary on
about himself.

Thanks ricks. Noted.

I understand that NF is trying new things, developing their own series, for one thing.

Still, I just like to moan when commercial operations fail to cater fully to my own peculiar interests.

I find it frustrating as hell when there's multiple sequels to a movie, but not the first one... anyone else? Seriously. Wtf Netflix.

Well right now I'm watching Andy Griffith. Barney's trying to rough up the fruit stand guys with his one bullet again. They ain't buyin' it.
Lately, even for the paltry $9/mo I'm thinking about dumping Netflix. We've seen everything that's decent 8 times over. They rarely have anything even close to within 5 years ago. They can't even keep up with Pawn Stars, and we have new episodes for free from The History Channel.

If Netflix does't impress me over the next 22 days, it's buh-bye.

Also, like I collect in CDs and Vinyls, I already have a habit of buying movies that I like... and Netflix never has the movies I want to rent. Unless B movies count? My DVD collection is massive... I should start up a business lol who wants movies!?

I just finished AHS Freak Show... what a let down. I am displeased. On to the next.

That's what I'm watching too. Not the best in the series - my fav was Asylum - but it's still very entertaining. Jessica Lange is so good in these.

She's why I watch them. I like the first one and I loved Asylum, Coven was... uhhh... well, frankly, I was bored with it. And Freak Show just... idk man.
