I've pulled the chassis
Not to be a smartass but why? Sad as it is, $1000 doesn’t buy what it used to. Anywhere. That’s disposable tech, why risk cracking it open at all?
Sorry to hear it, @Maggot Brain !
For a hot minute they were on my radar, but I think I read too many reviews that were similar to yours.
Hope you are able to sort your power scaling issue out!
Yes and they sound absolutely fantastic in this combo. Very well balanced with a hint of greenback character. Full without being muddy and clear without being piercing, they have a percussive quality I couldn't achieve plugging it into a 1960A with the T75s.Do these use the V Type speakers?

The issue I was having appeared to be dirty switches. I noticed wiggling the switch could alleviate the issue so I applied some deoxit and toggled them back and fourth. It can get pretty dusty around my place living near train tracks so I am pretty confident that was in fact the issue.
I am still loving this amp and have yet to get a bad tone out of it. I again feel it is a perfect middle ground of JTM and Bassman which the JTM45 is commonly touted as too. I think this amp would be even more phenomenal with some KT66s and different speakers. I am going to upgrade them with some Mojotone Watchtowers soon and I can't wait!
I have been finding the amp sounds glorious diming all the controls, that's when it really shines with it's Marshall impression and I love it.
So, long past the honeymoon and I am still loving the sound of this baby. It's production shortcuts have me disappointed but every time I play it I am NEVER disappointed or frustrated with the tones and sounds it can deliver. Which is the first priority of an amp! The production year is 2019 so it's pushing 3+ years and other than the dirty toggles, running great!

Glad to see you got your contacts clean.
back!
Ironically I sold the Bassbreaker 45 and now have a Super Sonic 60. I admit I miss the Bassbreaker 45 A LOT and kinda wish I hung onto it and shoved some Greenbacks in it. I still think the BB45 is one of the best sounding amps I've ever played, perfect mix between Bassman and JTM imo but my Super Sonic 60 on the Bassman setting gets pretty close and I have to say the Burn channel on the SS60 is my new all time favorite.I played a Bassbreaker awhile ago too…I’m a big fan of the Super Sonic 22 & 60…had and sold them both, but always wanted the 22 again
Then the Bassbreaker came along…I was/am really impressed …got to try it out out with a SS22 side by side…it was REALLY close to the 22, but more “modern” sounding and of course, more powerful…I allllllmost took it home…but something about the little more “vintage-y” vibe of the SS22 just resonated with with me more…I left with it -
The Bassbreaker is really fine, though
