Hey guys, just took delivery of my first real head and cab, its a Marshall 1988 JCM 800 2205 50w with a 2003 1960a Lead.

Just wondering. It is a Canadian version so I believe its only 4ohm and 8ohm. I was wondering how I would match ohms from head to cab, back of cab is 4/8 ohm left, 16ohm right, mono or stereo? Just kind of new to this all.

Thanks!

on the switch on the cabinet, switch it to MONO, now look at the ohms noted on top, there's 4 on the left and 16 on the right.

plug into the left jack (4 ohms), and set the amp to 4 ohms.

Congrats OP!

Beautiful rig! I'm eyeballing a 2205 now. Debating on pulling the plug.
Let us hear it rip!
