After messing around with an SV20H I have become plexi obsessed so thought why not get the real deal. The question is coming from the SV20H is there. anything I need to watch out for or be aware of ?

Congrats! The only thing I can think of needing to know is that this bad boy is gonna be LOUD! Hope you have a good attenuator lined up.

Louder than a jet plane is not much of an exaggeration. If you have a cabinet with 100dB @ 1 W speakers, that amp will easily give you 120dB, at a distance of 1 meter.

Yes, after playing through a 100w, the thing to be aware of, is that you'll want another (maybe a 2203x...).

curious how it will compare to Marshall SV20H in terms of tone. Anyone know what year they are based on 1968/69 circuits?

No, they are based on the early 70's metal-face, whereas the HW version is based on the plexi-face. Using the plexiglass-panel on the SLP makes it a bit confusing for sure.
