I like Rush. Like 'em a lot.

I remember when Moving Pictures was released and the whole world stopped.
I mean who didn't just rise up when Tom Sawyer started playing on the radio?
Looking back now I think their odd time usage was choppy on a lot of stuff.
In most cases I don't like it. Page used odd times too but incorporated ways
to blend it to "round" it out. The Ocean is a great example of 7/8 with a tap
on the 8th note before hitting 1 again. That's the magic.
Rush is probably my #2. (die-hard Zep fan)
The stuff you never hear on the radio is some of their best.
One of the bands that to me, I don't care what tune or album - it's all spectacular.
All that from a trio! My older brother turned me onto them in the early 80's. I turned my son onto them and we saw them together on the final tour. My grandson now sings along to RUSH tunes and that makes me happy.
Ok, I give you that . I have listened to Zep since I was 10 years old. 1970.
They are and always will be the rock!

For god sake through the years they are stellar, no band holds a candle, Sap. Stand down . I will not falter!!! And I know there is a lot of competition. If you have seen as many shows as I have I will stand down but I doubt that will happen !

It is not even about their hits , love them hate them. No band has stood the test of time. Integrity beyond the average. All heavy bands have sold out even though that has happened they still stand above all , don’t test me !
they sold out in the '80s...

I followed them no matter what , I did find an end. But all bands get there. You won’t break me.

Of course some don’t like Geddy’s venture to keyboards. You won’t like mine either.
