Hi folks,
work in progress ;- ) No, I promised to finish work on my BE-100 clone and then go for the guitar. But I think I have to skip
that plan and order the guitar while finishing the amp...
I'm torn between
a) Charvel Joe Duplantier Pro Mod SD Style 2 and adding a coil split myself. Beautiful guitar and should give plenty of
metal-ish sounds as well as good old rock.
b) Using a Scheter PT special aqua burst and put a DiMarzio Tone Zone T or alike in the bridge.
The neck is flatter on the Schecter. Not sure if the rail will satisfy me (btw any suggestions of a fat rail PU are always welcome), though.
John 5 and 80's PT are hard to come by, let alone test playing in say 500km radius...
