And thankyou guys for that. Because I'll be honest, I thought since I'm not that experienced in this field that I would catch alot anger and ridicule. Which is why I avoided forums for the longest time like The Gearpage. I thought that absolutely no one would help me.

I don't know if this has any significance, but my screen resistors are supposed to be 1k but all of them measure less than 1k, around 980 ohms.

My amp will output well, but the preamp and master volume act weird. They both try to act like master volumes on different channels.

That's because you are building a 2 channel amp with 4 inputs.

if you want to build a single channel amp with 2 inputs with preamp and volume you'll need to change a few things.

Screen resistors seem to be well within 10% . Fairly normal. One step at a time . Go slow. Be methodical. It helps me to take notes when I've checked current/voltage upstream. I can read my flow chart on paper when I take a break because I'm stumped. ( Happens a lot ) I get a lot of breaks !!!!!

What are your pin 5 voltages on V4-7?
No signal, all pots turned down but still connected to a matched load?

Have you tried using contact cleaner on the tube pins and sending it in and out of every tube socket a few times? I had a red plating issue recently on my SLP and that solved it. Granted the tube sockets are old in my amp but wouldn't hurt to try.
