Issues with my new Victory V4 The Kraken Preamp pedal into fx loop of JVM210

Recently bought said preamp pedal listed in the description, and have been having issues getting it to work in the fx loop of my JVM. I put it in the Power amp insert/serial loop (which seems appropriate), and I am not getting any sound (on switch for that loop is engaged). I followed the instructions for connecting it in the loop, and still nothing (even tried it for the hell of it in the first loop, and same result). Has anyone else had any experience with this pedal (problems included)? Any input would be appreciated.

If you plug your guitar in to the Return/Insert of that loop, do you get sound from it? Have you tried the pedal in the parallel loop (ideally with the wet/dry mix almost if not entirely set to 100% wet)? Does the pedal work in front of the amp (i.e. guitar -> pedal -> amp input)?

@LPCustom28 It is tube driven , I assume it has a power supply?

Yes, it’s tube driven, and the power supply is working fine. I tried running it through my orange rockerverb 50 to (both in the loop and the front end), and got a little bit of sound, but it’s so quiet it’s pretty much useless (pedal volumes stop doing anything after where I have them set in the attached picture). I tried it through the JVM again (loop and front), and got a similar result, but even more faint (couldn’t hear any sound through the loop).

Have you read the user guide? I remember reading a review of one of their other pre-amp pedals that described how to run it but can't remember off the top of my head.

Yes, I did read through the manual (also watched a YouTube video on their YouTube channel that explains how to hook it up in the loop specifically), so some other strange issue is going on. Left a message with the place I ordered from, and will see what they say.

Wow man, that sucks. How disapointing. Been there and I know the letdown.

Hope it gets straightened out. The reviews are pretty good on those preamps.
