I started with a Lead 12 around the same time. I wish I still had it. Today I have a couple of DSL’s, an Origin and a Studio Vintage 20C. I’ve got other amps but I smile more when I play through my Marshall’s

I still play the Lead 12 fairly regularly and it makes me smile too. I have a greenback in it now and it sounds great for the kind of music I like (classic rock/Americana/alt-country). I’ll probably offload the DSL sometime as I can never get the level of grit I’m looking for. With no master the classic gain gets quite loud before it warms up, whereas the ultra gain is too much for my tastes.
