Hi, I was here last year on a different account and after a hiatus of domestic PC/internet issues, have come back.

A former now retired stage and instrument tech I have always been a Marshal enthusiast.
Having gotten rid of my TSL60 for cash to purchase an SV20c when I was here last year.

The SV20C was great amp but it didnt got a lot of use.
Always missing my TSL60 that I sold it for cash to buy the SV20.
I ended up selling the SV20c for cash after seeing a 6101 92 Blue on craigslist for 1100US.
A bit much perhaps but not unreasonable I think.
I find the 6101 is much closer to the TSL which makes things easier and more pleasant for me.
Also, the 30year old 30th anniversary model will need some tinkering, tweaking and up keep where the new amp did not.

TSL's have a bad name, but they can be really nice amps. Still tempted myself from time to time. How 'bout some pics of the 6101?

Sure...some pics
1- the wee beastie in its road case bottom
2- rear of cab w chassis out showing the EV12L
3- in its special place for messing with it. ;-)

needing a fix, so far all I found was a crazy 'n lazy ch1 vol pot!
ch1 vol -It goes all the way to half before it kicks in -at half
its okay as long as the master is not up full.
It fooled me with a few WTF? times as it I coudnt determinet why there was no sound as normally I turned t up to 3 or 4...

I havw a pair of 70's GE USA 6ca7's Tetrodes I put in and run it @ 50 watts

I had lots of tubes and I found the Mesa el34's sounded more suitable for lower vol playing than the JJ's a bit tighter and more compression.
For now Im sticking with the airier 6ca7's as Im using it clean and occasionally for electric acoustic too
