That one?
I have a few other models from Harley Benton they've all been worth the money (SC Custom and Jr among them). Perfectly playable, well built and the roswell humbuckers they used were shit. (Haven't tried the newer tesla branded pickups). They SC Custom gets gigged more than anything else I have.
If you're looking for a decent to awesome cheap SG, it's probably a good buy.
(They have it in shell pink for under €200 😃 )
Sound good? Did you swap pickups? Here's my Harley Bentons

Sound good? Did you swap pickups?
See I'm the opposite. I really like the Roswell P90 in my DC. It's a great sounding pickup. I actually had plans to swap it out with a Gibson dogear P90, but after I got the guitar I decided to leave it stock because I liked the pickup so much. It definitely has a little bit different character than other P90's, but that snappiness to the tone is actually what I like about it. It makes it stand out.I mentioned shit pickups without context. It's really only been the roswell humbuckers that I didn't like.
The p90 in my SC-jr and the split coil in my pb20 are both perfectly usable right out of the box.
The single coil in the HB lap steel is a bit noisy under gain, but also not terrible.
