I meant I do not like P

I meant I do not like P100s. In fact, the P90 is my favourite pickup.
Each to their own. I sold every P-90 guitar I ever owned. And frankly, don't miss em.
Never was a Mesa guy, Or DiMarzio guy either.
How do you get a full humbucker under a P-90 cover anyway?
Is it the Single Coil blade model?
If so, first thing I'd do is lose the cover.

Ever tried adjusting the pickup height? That alone can change quite a lot.

I don't think it's possible. The only one which would fit is the old LP DEluxe mini-humbucker.

@PelliX yes I have tried that in the past but didn't seem to make much of a difference, I'll try to mess with the pickup height on the Dimarzio p90 super distortion but the factory neck Gibson P100 pickup is already very bass so I don't know how I should adjust that one if I should lower it or just try raising the bridge Dimarzio p90 super distortion and I know other people have said to adjust the 12 pole pieces on the Dimarzio but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to that.

I tend to have my pickups 'tilted' a bit - closer on the high strings, more distance on the low strings. Often a couple of millimeters can make a substantial change. YMMV, as always. :yesway:
