Scooter, I have been trying to see how different the dirt side is in these amps.
Using the same guitar and 2-12” cab, I ran both from soft to cranked using the same settings and going by ear. I would have to say the Chupa is just a little rawer when everything is the same. Slightly brighter as well. Both are outstanding amps and both are very versatile, I would say it would boil down to the way you play. For me, if I could only have one it would be the KK. If you tend to be more of a guy that finds his sound and sticks with it, or a guy that lives for the punch of a hot amp, the Chupacabra is an incredible amp. Very tough call.
Thanks for your input.
Appriciate you comparing them side by side.

Must be where he got the name.. .the name Ass Hole does sound a little more aggressive and nasty than the Brown Eye.. it also sounds a little less polished than a BE 😂
I just remembered a little bit of this story. Apparently Friedman was ragging Nik about cloning amps when Dave was basically doing a similar thing. So Nik cloned the BE and called it the AH asshole.. if you catch his drift.

They sound better, and 1/2 the price!
Better selection too!
Its no wonder there is a long waiting list.

How do these amps compare to the Marshall equivalent?
Which Marshall?
All the Ceriatones that I have heard sound better, and often incorporate features not found in the specific model they copy.
Ceriatone makes stock Marshall copies, modified Marshall copies, Friedman copies, etc.
So it might help to be more specific with your question,
Ive never heard a Ceriatone, that didnt sound better than the model they copied, usually incorporate wanted features, and always much less expensive!
The only problem is a long waiting list, but they are absolutely worth the wait!

Building a stock clone is a simple thing nowadays, especially when it comes to Marshall. There are no secrets left anymore with marshall builds. you can buy the components yourself and build a stock marshall clone that sounds like the original. Ceriatone builds them with great components, and as was stated by others, they add in features that bring them to the next level over a stock marshall. As well The point to point build is a work of art. If you have never seen inside a ceriatone, google it and take a look, they are build with such precision, and are beautiful to just look at, lol/
The ONLY negative I have ever heard as it relates to a Ceriatone build is that they could use better quality transformers. But I have owned a few Ceriatones and never taken issue with the trasnformers.

The Ceriatone amps are also much nicer made and should be able to last forever with a little maintenance.

The transformer thing was years ago. Whatever brand they were using had some failures, now Nik has his own custom ones made for them and they seem to work fine.

Ceriatone sells amplifiers, and then they also sell amplifier kits.....

The only transformer issue I ever recall, was someone building a Ceriatone KIT at home, and had things wirered up incorrectly.
Big difference in a Ceriatone KIT that an someone built on their kitchen table, and a Ceriatone amplifier built on location at Ceriatone !
Its easy to get the 2 confused.
I would not be surprised to see Nic discontinue the kits at some point, going forward, and focus on selling only completed products.
As Ampeq has already mentioned....Nics transformers are built exactly to his specific specification, and for good reason.
More Ceriatone porn, with custom made name badge, and original Ceriatone transformers!

Where'd you get the cool Ceriatone logo?

My 2204 is heavy... those transformers are stout.

Well Finally got shipment notification on my AH100 Deluxe!
"should" be arriving monday.
Looking forward to pics and your thoughts.

On a side note fellas.. For the first time today I tried my amp with the upgraded, buffered loop turned off (Nic put a switch on the back of mine to turn it off). It made a big difference in tone! I didn't think it would make any difference so I never tried it before but was messing around with my new Bogner Ecstasy Blue pedal and noticed it dramatically on the low sensitivity input. I haven't tried it on the high input yet. It sounds great both ways but a lot different and I prefer it with the loop off on low input by a lot.

I purchased my 1 year old Yeti used. Also included was a unopened t-shirt, original unopened Ceriatone logo plate, as well as 2 different custom logos that the the previous owner had ordered and purchased from a 3rd party. I have the contact details for the 3rd party. In fact, I plan on ordering another logo, as soon as my new Chupa arrives. If youd like details, (Im not sure on the price), let me know and I will forward his contact info along to you. It took me 3 weeks to decide which logo to install! But , as you can see, I finally decided to utilize the Marshall style logo, as opposed to the original Cetiatone metal plate. Installation is sort of permanate....I tried several types of 2 sided tape, including 3M VHS tape, but they all failed. I finally resorted to a few drops of superglue, which worked very well.
The ceriatone head looks great on top of all my Marshall heads, with similar logos. It fits in very well, but the Ceriatone is on TOP of all the Marshalls, because it sounds the best, and I use it the most often!

Congratulations!
How long was the waiting period on the Friedman copy?
Worth the wait, Im sure!
I ordered August of 2021 so just over a year.
And to my surprise I went onto ceriatone's youtube channel this morning and saw they used my amp to shoot a video! lol
Just gets me that much more excited! @ampeq according to UPS tracking, mine has been sitting in China for 2 days. lol Looks like I may run into the same issue you did. How long after your original expected delivery date did yours arrive?
I took off work on monday to ensure i was here to sign for delivery. So hopefully I don't have to move that date.

Mine was in about 3-4 days after it's confinement, I thought is was going to be longer. Did you get yours yet? That was another amp I wanted, it's got a lot of nice touches in it. The one you are getting sounded awesome in the clip.

I ordered in January, so Im getting very close.
Cant wait!
Congrats on the YouTube celebrity status of your Friedman copy!
I watched YOUR video earlier today.
Its a movie star!
There is a moment in YOUR video where Shahhidzir (I believe that is his name) plays a VanHalen riff.
He also plays the same exact riff in the Ceriatone Chupa video, from a few months ago.
So, naturally, I invested some time listening to just those 2 clips.comparing the Chupa to the AH100.
I kept going back and forth, listening to only those 2 riffs, from both videos.
I was surprised at how much similarity the 2 clips had in common.
One was slightly brighter sounding than the other, yet both sounded great!
Both amps had that certain Ceriatone vibe that I love!
Here are the 2 clips that I am refering to:
