6 short days ago, I received an e-mail, informing me that a Ceriatone Chupacabra was heading my way, from 1/2 way across the world! Today it arrived, in absolutely perfect condition. I installed a custom logo that I already had, plugged it in, and let me tell you, this thing sounds GREAT! Ceriatone is a great company to work with! Nik and his team communicated professionally, provided me with periodic updates, manufactured it with love and true craftsmanship, and packed it for its long journey extremely well. The amp sounds absolutely great! I now have a Yeti and a Chupa, and my plan is to spend some quality time with both, side by side, and really compare their similarity and differences. My advice is that if your considering purchasing anything from a clean amp, to a 5E3, to a hot rodded plexi, consider a Ceriatone! The workmanship is absolutely top notch!

And if you don't want the long wait, bone up on your soldering and layout skills. From what I hear, the kits ship almost instantly! I'm waiting/hoping they start cloning the SV20! They could even leave out the 5 watt option and still have a great amp. The components are at least as good as what Marshall is using these days and you end up with hand wired, turret board construction, instead of PCB.

Happy new amp day Scooter! I'm so clad you went with the Chupa, I can't say enough about that amp. Isn't that crazy how he can ship an amp from that far away and have it land here in perfect condition 3 - days later. I think you will find not only does it have a fantastic drive sound range, but you also have a very good clean tone as well. I have been running mine into 2 different cab's. One, a 2-12" Mesa hor. cab, the other a Carvin 2-12" with a V30 & 75wCB. Both work great. Do you think the Chupa has a little more raw drive than the Yeti? Please keep us posted on how you like it and what you have done with it. I wish you many moons of rocking her!

6 days to get 1/2 way across the world!
Very fast, and received it in excellent condition!
Tubes, cabinet, and all!
The Yeti and Chupa are very similar sounding, yet different.
Niks description of the 2 is spot on.
The Chupa is slightly brighter, with a little more gain ....perhaps.
Both sound great.
I seldom use pedals, but...
My Yeti has a regular loop.
My new Chupa has Nik's upgraded buffered loop.
Thats my next test.
I plan on comparing the 2 different loops.
Great company!

And oh yeah, I forgot, HNAD! I'll be well interested in your report/review of the loop!
Enjoy!

HNAD!!!

I was in the cusp of ordering an amp from Nik but decided on the HDRX 20 which I do not regret. I do want a big (100w) amp again someday and pretty much decided I want his 45/100.

I bet that thing sounds as good if not better than it looks! (Look amazing!)

Share some clips of that bad boy in action!

Another masterful example of what goes into a Ceriatone.

Happy NAD!

Have you had a chance to run them stereo yet?
Thank you!
I have NOT tried them in stereo!
That would be bliss, and Id probably never leave the house!
I need another 1960B cabinet!
I currently have a 212 and a 1960A, so that would sound odd.
I am looking for a good deal on a 1960B however, so who knows!
I love the idea!
