You guys may have saw this yesterday as it was all over the net, but Boss is releasing a stereo SDE-3000 in pedal format in collaboration with EVH. Looks like they got everything right (even the marketing is pretty cool). These days I get all my time-based effects from Fractal, so this is first pedal I'm considering in a decade+.

Very cool video from Boss. For an old school guy like me it's refreshing to see the recreation of such a cool device. The mini tour at 5150 and at Eddie's messy little room was awesome, it was worth the more than ten minutes of video. I'm waiting for someone at Roland found that Eddie at some point used an SD-1 to push his plexi. Just imagine how much an "SD-1 WAZAEVH" will cost, lol

The only problem (and it's not Boss's problem but Eventide's) is you can't stack this with an Eventide Micropitch for the EVH Detune b/c the Eventide doesn't have a dry-thru output for the center channel. The SDE-3000EVH has outputs for wet Left & Right and dry Center.

It's also worth noting that Pete Thorn said Eddies' actual W/D/W rig wasn't actually 100% wet, but Ed blended some dry into the Left & Right channels... so technically it's a Mix/Dry/Mix. I made this immediate adjustment when I got home last night and it made a HUGE improvement. I never felt the left & right delays were balanced with the center when they were 100% wet.
