Am I safe to use my vintage UK Marshall in Chile?

Good evening all, first time poster here looking for advice. I've just moved to Chile from the UK and I'm planning on using my (year) 1973 Marshall Artiste 2040 (model) 50W combo. It's well maintained, and I'd be a bit gutted if I were to damage it plugging in to an unsuitable supply. Does anyone out there know if my beast should be safe and operate correctly without modification? As far as I can ascertain voltages are pretty similar with Chile around the 220V mark and the UK being nominally 240V. Sounds alright to me but I'd rather not take any chances. Any advice gratefully received. Cheers, Jim.

I think you'll be OK but I'd want to know how consistent the supply is. When I first used my UK amps in Spain the supply was all over the place and we had power cuts occasionally. Then they upgraded the grid and it's good as gold. These were modern amps though which I suspect are more robust. Can you check the voltage at various times of the day?

Thanks for the response PP. I daresay it's possible but I wouldn't have a clue how to go about it! Good to know what to look for though. I think there's someone in the family here that although not being knowledgeable about amps does bits and bobs of domestic installation so I'll tap them up about it. Thanks again.
