16 ohm mod

Hi

I got a "new" marshall recently - a 1983 2203 JMP. Very cool amp, BUT it is a Scandinavian export model, which means that it only has 4 and 8-ohm outputs. I'm used to 16 ohms (both cab and attenuator), so I would like to know if one of the options (preferably the 4 ohms one) can be replaced with a 16 ohm one.

I am afraid that I am pretty sure the OTs for the scandi and Canadian markets are specifically 4 and 8 only. I don’t think the other taps are tucked inside.
Hope I’m wrong !

I would rewire the 16 Ohm cabinet (2 x 16 in parallel twice each pair in series = 16 Ohms) or (4 x 16 in parallel = 4 Ohms). Problem sorted.
I must say though, I have never seen a Marshall without a 16 Ohm setting for this precise reason.
