The AD30 really surprised me but I love all my Oranges aside from the Micro ones. Sure, they're fun but they don't come close to the "real thing".

Hey all, I've been working on this new series, it's called "One Song, One Amp!" V2 and I'm pretty excited about it. I've done something like this before but this one has more guitars and styles so it will hopefully keep things more interesting... :) The idea is that I wrote and recorded this...

So, I got my Archon 50 recently, REALLY loving it to be honest! Sounds huge! Plenty of mids, low end and bite. Not super tight like an EVH for example by default, but it just has that rich and fat Archon sound. Pretty unique I must say! The MT15 Mark Tremonti signature amp, who doesn't know...

So this video completes my story/"adventure" with the EVH 5150III 50w 6L6. It really sucks because it sounded great. I don't want to cause any drama, just give you guys an honest look of the "completely experience" I had with the amp:

I now have both the EVH 5150 III 50W 6L6 and the EL34 so it made a lot of sense for me to make a comparison of both! While I was working on the comparison however, the new 6L6 amp broke down and I had to get a replacement from Thomann. Luckily they sorted it out very quickly and I had my new...

Have you tried some more extreme eq settings? What was it about the tone that you didn't like?
