Can I put 5881 power tubes in my Marshall 2203X without modding it?

It was designed for four EL34 tubes. But they always run cold with the bias pot maxed out. So would it be safe to put four 5881 tubes in it? Or would they be incompatible?

A question about a mains fuse in my TSL60

The back panel recommends a (T1.6AL - 230V) (T3AL- 120V) for the mains fuse. Since I'm in the USA I suppose I need a T3AL? The reason I ask is because the fuse that is in there now says: "3 A 250 VAC". Could this harm my amp?

What kind of Marshall is Neal Schon of Journey playing through here?

This was at the We ♥ NYC concert on August 21, 2021. The left amp was miked. Maybe the other one was a backup? Also is that a greenback 4x12? The amp looks like an original DSL of some sort. The music starts at about 2:55.

Does anyone know what the R2 in a Marshall 2203X amp does?

Several years ago an amp tech replaced it. Does anyone know what it does? Here's a picture of the schematic: It says 68K. But the amp repairer here appears to have replaced it with a 10K. Here's a link to the entire schematic...

Has anyone ever had a new power tube fail in their amp?

If yes, what type and brand was it?

Has anyone here ever modded their Marshall bias circuit to bias the tubes hotter?

If yes what did it involve? Did it work? Did you piggyback a resistor etc.? I have a 100 watt 2203X head where the tubes are running too cold. I only get the JJ EL34s to bias up to 11.8 mA each.

Does Marshall amps test each speaker cab before they ship it out?

Say like a 4x12. Do you think they play it real loud to see if it's ready to be played live etc.?
